I put on test Counter Strike Source Non-Steam version. Basically, Non-Steam version of Counter Strike Source is CRACKED version of original Steam Counter Strike Source.
With Non-Steam Counter Strike Source you can play Counter Strike Source with your friends on your private LAN Party and you can play Mulitplayer on-line with your friends as well, but only on Non-Steam Counter Strike Source Servers. Players with original Steam Counter Strike Source can access to the Non-Steam servers as well. So, the difference is only that, that Non-Steam Counter Strike Source players cannot play on Steam servers.
As I played Counter Strike Source on Non-Steam servers as well, I noticed that Non-Steam Counter Strike Source players are not so skilled and they often thinks that good players are cheaters.
So, I was interested in testing Non-Steam Counter Strike Source to see the game from their view.
I download Non-Steam Counter Strike Source somewhere from the Internet (sorry, can't tell you where), I take care to download lastest version. After download Install was pretty easy (basically, only extract and run). Scanning servers was easy as well.
First what I noticed that number of Non-Steam Counter Strike Source servers is about million less then original Steam Counter Strike Source servers. That means that with original game you have infinity number of servers which you can access, so you can really find server with rules and plugins you like.
After I found few servers which match mine criterias I joined to the server without any problems. So far so good, everything looked the same as it is with original game.
And then, party begins. I will write all details and problems I ran into that I noticed which are not the same as on original game. This is only from mine point of view:
- Response of the game is much worst the original, sometimes I felt like something is wrong with mine mouse and computer.
- I experiance lot of bugs and laggs, even I tried more the 15 servers.
- Calculations where not always correct (calculations of bullets and movements).
- Non-Steam server works exactly the same as Steam server. My point is that all this issues I had are issues of the client -> Non-Steam Counter Strike Source Game
- I experience Sound Bugs
- Sound enviroment sometimes was very confusing
- Feeling of playing Non-Steam Counter Strike Source was disturbing, I didn't enjoy the game. I felt like this is not the same game.

As you can see, css-skill.com has new concept. This concept will be much easier for me to manage it. I know that old one had much better desin, but what the hell, I'm not designer! :-)) So, if you wish to help with desing fell free to contact me.
